How it works
When setting up Instaprint for an event, you select which hashtags and/or a geo-location that you want Instaprint to look for. Any Instagrams taken by a user (tagged appropriately) will then be grabbed by our cloud servers and sent down to the Instaprint devices, as well as the instaprint.me online gallery.
Inkless technology
Rather than dealing with ink cartridges that need constant replacement, Instaprint uses an inkless technology where all color is pulled right from the paper itself.
Daisy chaining
For higher volume printing and an even better look, Instaprints are daisy chained together to share power
and connectivity.
All you need is an Internet connection
The only requirement for making Instaprint do its thing is a stable and reliable internet connection.

Instaprint.me provides an online gallery for each event, so attendees and hosts can access all Instagrams that were taken.

Internet Connection
Instaprint WILL NOT WORK without a stable and reliable internet connection. WiFi is preferable, but an ethernet cable that is run to the setup location will work as well.
Printing Speed
A setup of four Instaprints provides continuous printing for small to large events. It takes just one minute from when your photo is uploaded to when you are holding the print in your hand.
Power
The entire setup runs off of any standard AC power outlet, and only requires about 300 watts.
Hashtags and Geotags
Instaprint works by pulling in all images associated with a hashtag or geo-location that users have added to their Instagrams. These are up to you, although we advise the following when deciding on a hashtag:
- Unique and appropriate to the event
- Keep it short (it’s hard to type long hashtags)
